Family Budget

Know what you can actually spend.

A household planner for two people — and for the rental property the spreadsheet never handled properly.

It looks forward, not backward

Months are worked out from your recurring rules rather than stored, so you can open any future month and cost it before it happens. The home screen is a single figure: what is safe to spend, already net of every bill and set-aside between now and the end of the month.

It holds money back for what is coming

A wedding entered for November lowers what you can spend in September, spread across the months in between — so the money is there when the date arrives. With your permission it can read your calendar to spot events that look expensive, and it always asks before acting.

It does property properly

Each rental groups its own income and expenses and reports what it clears each month. Debt payoff is amortised against the real interest rate, so a payment that only covers interest is reported honestly as never clearing, rather than given a comforting date that will never arrive.
